Beautiful autumn photo. Maples have such nice fall colors!
That is just awesome. I haven't seen a maple leaf in so long. Just wonderful my friend :)
let'em blow, as long as it doesn't rain!
"Come said the wind to the leaves one day, Come o're the meadows and we will play. Put on your dresses scarlet and gold, For summer is gone and the days grow cold."
-~A Children's Song of the 1880's
I was out again today with my camera looking forjust this kind of shot.... I will be showing the soon enough.
This is picture perfect, I love those green veins.
Beautiful and timely choice.
Beautiful autumn leaf! I love how it's colored. Reminds me of the bittersweet feeling of watching the leaves turn and later fall, knowing that the winter's bare branches will only in a few months burst into the green of new leaves.
This is soooo pretty. I just never tire of autumn colors.
We waited all last winter for the leaves of green. And in May, that seasonal wish came true. The colors of autumn are beautiful, but they portend colder weather, a bit bleaker. So we enjoy this ruby now!
It IS that time of year again, isn't it?
i love the changing seasons & the changing colours of autumn leaves :)
Hello Carletta! What a great ruby representative of fall! I like this shot...
That's beautiful. The red is so vivid. I love it.
Nice. I love the leaves when they are like that. My trees are almost bare already. Getting cold too fast for my taste.
It's beautiful, Carletta! The music is too!
Our leaves are still green - this is lovely. Love how it goes straight from green to red, with bits of brown spots.
I love how caught a little green in there. That is my favorite stage. I have a red leaf today too.
Ah yes autumn is here in all her glory - a delightful shot Carletta.
Wow nice capture! This reminds me of the poem/song, "The Last Leaf," though this leaf didn't cling to the vine. :D
My RT entry is here.
Beautiful autumn leaf. And the music, too!
That is so pretty, almost artsy!
Beautiful close up of the leaf, Carletta! What attractive colors, in the green blades of grass!
Maple leaves are at their best in the fall.
I should want the late summer to stay just a little bit longer.
My voice doesn't count.

Awwww! Beautiful red fall leaves. Nice macro...I love seeing the detail in the leaf as well as the grass. Very nice.
Beautiful, beautiful!!
My RT!
Very beautiful, great macro. The trees here are still green with a few turning yellow and gold. No red yet.
I love fall colors, not that I see them myself anymore. It is cool and rainy here today, a real harbinger of fall.
Beautiful color, the Fall is upon us now!!
Great Len capture. Love the detail. Happy RT
A single red leaf
caught in the greenness of grass—
who will set it free?
What a beautiful blend of colors!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving your nice comment.
Happy RT!
Oh, so beautiful. I love the colors. I love Autumn.

Beautiful leaf, Carletta! There are lots of fallen leaves here, but the sun waited till I got home before coming out, and I simply didn't want to take photos of greyness. There will be enough of that in January!
love the red maple leaf. it's a sign of fall season there. thanks for visiting my blog.
my entry: http://www.altc5.com/
Gorgeous! Most of the leaves that are falling out my window are gold right now.... I'm hoping for some red real soon!
My RT
you turned one lone fallen leaf into art :)
I like how the veins on the leaf are still green. Still some life left in that beautiful red leaf.
This is perfect in its imperfection and gorgeous colors-- thanks for sharing your autumn with us!
Beautiful colors in this lovely leaf! Thanks for visiting my Ruby roses ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
Greeat Ruby for the coming fall Carletta, we don't have a color change yet but we are getting much cooler, have a lovely RT!
Hi Carletta, i love to see autumn leaves. Unfortunately, we don't have that here in the PHilippines. But i love to see them in pictures. :)
I played today.
Carletta: The leaves they are a changing.
This is a great close-up of what we will soon be seeing everywhere! Nice touch that you added the song as we look at your photo, Carletta!
I hope to take some pretty foliage shots this season. Not a lot of colors yet, but I'm waiting..
Happy belated Ruby Tuesday ~
So simple, but so beautiful! Have a wonderful week, Carletta :)
