I WAS AT MY MOM'S YESTERDAY AND SOME OF HER HANGING PLANTS ARE FINISHED FLOWERING. I THINK THIS IS AN IVY GERANIUM WHOSE LEAVES ARE TURNING RED BECAUSE OUR NIGHTTIME TEMPERATURES HAVE DROPPED THIS PAST WEEK.
IF SOMEONE HAS A DIFFERENT ID PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
The are just beautiful. Exquisite :)
I think you are right and they are very pretty. My mother in law always takes her geraniums in for the winter. They go dormant and then she sets them back outside in the cpring.
Its a beautiful photo of the leafs soft changing colors. Great shot :)
Beautiful light in this shot! Makes the red really pop out. I have no idea why the leaves turn red, but it sure makes a good photo!
What a perfect combination of color and lighting. Gorgeous photo Carletta, these leaves show a delicate transtion of the season. Thanks for sharing them.
that is just so pretty the way you caught the light on those leaves....

Carletta, these Geraniums seem little lighted lamps. Wonderful!
Such soft sweet colors looks like a "mom" flower.
How beautiful ;--)
I don't think I've ever seen the edges of Ivy Geranium leaves turn red like this, but then it doesn't get very cold here at the beach in Southern California either. Thanks for sharing.
Hugs and blessings,
I don't know what the plant is, but at first I thought the leaves were flowers. They are beautiful!
What a beautiful shot. I love the variation of shades.
Perfect photograph. Everything about it is lovely. :-)
Have a great week, Carletta!
Elegant! Really nice photo.
Autumn must be in the air to colour up your Geraniums so delightfully.
What a gorgeous capture...composition, light...exquisite Carletta! I really like this one, alot!
Very, very beautiful, Carletta. Just stunning.
Carletta, this is gorgeous!! I love the way the sunlight is coming through the leaves!!!
I love how the leaves slowly change the colors. Lighting and composition is perfect!
Have a great Sunday!
Beautiful, the sunlight really brings out the colors.
I didn't buy any ivy geraniums this year, you make me wish I had now.
Have a great week,
Judy
Ooops I thought I have left a comment last night. Nice to see the sunshine on the leaves makes the color float.
I don't know flowers... except that it would be a very very dull world without them - so I couldn't tell you what flower it's from, but I just love the photo w/ the play of light & shadows, plus the turning of the leaves - it's all very pretty!
Perfect combination of colors together in this! Very pretty!
I have mine up too- on this site:
