I like this very much Carletta, the makings are stunning, even the inner tops of the wing. I also notice it as a tiny bit missing.. but that just adds to the beauty of the shot.

Thank you for your nice comments on my lighthouse. Glad you noticed the little reflection pool, I scounted that area for a long time during the day, and then stood there for many hours waiting for the sunset, because there was only one spot from which you can see the reflection, and I knew if I was there someone else would be there and I would not get the shot :-) That's dedication :-)

This is a wonderful photo. I like that the yellow on the butterfly is almost identical to the yellow of the flower.

Oh my! That is beautiful! An opened winged butterfly is not easy to capture...and, the colors blend so nicely...That is the perfect butterfly to sit upon that beautiful yellow flower.

I don't think I had even heard of a Pearl before this year, and it seems like everybody is seeing them this year. Wonder if it has just been an exceptional year for them, or if it is just they keep popping up in front of me.
