I just love the little guy on the tree branch. Wonderful shot. The other's good too, but I really love that one.

Those little gobblers wouldn't make a gobble -- they're barely a bite! But oh aren't they cute? I love the explorer in the tree!

They are beautiful creatures, aren't they? The little one in the tree is going to have a bright future.

Wow! Awesome shots. I see turkeys sometimes, but never baby ones. I'd love to see that.

I love the photos, are they turkeys? And if they are, can they fly? And the little one looks so sweet up on that tree branch...

Carletta, these photos are just wonderful, each in their own way!! Mom surrounded by her brood is just so quintessential! And the intrepid explorer up in the tree is so surprising!!

How cute.

While taking photos of damselflies this afternoon, a mother turkey walked her brood across the road. But I didn't see it...my husband did and I didn't hear him call out to me!

How are you, my friend?

Sooo pretty!
The second picture is fabulous - but I worry about the poor little chap.

Little bird in the tree looks rather puzzled - wondering whether to fall or fly perhaps.

Neal said...

I like both shots but the little guy/gal on the branch is just adorable.

That is amazing, Carletta. I haven't seen young turkeys yet this year and I have no good shots of the young sitting in a tree. Excellent work!
