This is glorious. Great shot. I showed two little girls (my daughter and a friend) a bleeding heart plant yesterday that was just beginning to "bleed." I wonder if the one on the side of my house is still alive. I should go check... back soon to view more online flowers.

Lovely shot! I believe we call it the bleeding heart of Jesus Christ! It's such a delicate flower!

I had a garden with bleeding hearts at one time. It was a rented place, so I had to leave them behind for the next tenant, but I did love them!

Oh, yeah...I've seen some of these flowers and they look so neat hanging and I called them hanging hearts as I didn't know it's real name. Thanks for the info.

Beautiful! One of my favourite spring flowers! I think I won't see mine for quite a while yet, though. ;-)

Beautiful flowers! Is "bleeding hearts" the real name? Have a great week, Carletta.

Hi Carletta, you are making great macro shots these days! I wonder why they are called "bleeding" hearts. Why not just "hearts?"

Blessed week ahead!

Ah, an old favorite. They always make me think of my Gran. I had some white ones at the old house, and those are nice too.

These are absolutely beautiful captures! I love them both. The light is wonderful on the buds, and the flow of the blooms is lovely on the second one.
