poor butterfly--it is a beautiful specimen. The flowers are gorgeous.
I wonder if he/she is just old or what. Sure is pretty however. And those wild flowers are gorgeous. Great captures :)

I have some pics of the very same kind of butterfly that I found-apparently almost at the end of it's life cycle...It was on the ground ,unable to fly. But it was still beautiful.(made me feel sad- but that's life)

I love the way you not only captured the butterfly feeding but also the field of those beautiful purple flowers.
