TUESDAY WAS A RAINY OVERCAST EVENING. HEADING TO THE STORE THERE THIS HAWK WAS IN FRONT OF ME. I ROLLED MY WINDOW DOWN THINKING HE WOULD FLY FOR SURE AND KNOWING I’D BE PUSHING THE LIMITS OF MY ZOOM LENS. THE BOTTOM PHOTO IS MY ORIGINAL AND THE TOP A CROPPED VERSION.
How regal looking. I just love it. Very well done my friend :)
Nice shot! And good job cropping -- I come here to enjoy the pictures and for the free photography lessons ;>)

Carletta, Your photos are stunning! Love the hawk! Also your alstromeria and butterfly on a flower are just amazing. Nicely done!
Great photos! The top cropped one looks like a painting - I really like it.
What a stately bird...and he knows it too! Beautiful captures!
Beautiful photos, they look almost like paintings.
What a great shot of this beautiful bird...
Nice shot, and good cropping! I'm glad you included the original, it gives an Idea of what can be done with the crop tool: Both shots are good, but the crop brings the hawk much closer.
Awesome photos!! Also love the apple photo below. Beautiful with the drops of water. Lovely color of green.
Wonderful image, Carletta! The cloudy sky goes so well with the hawk.Happy Sunday :-)
