What a great capture of the woodpecker. We have a Red-bellied that comes to our feeders. He comes so regularly that Betsy has named him.
He is a handsome, well-dressed fellow. This is an excellent capture -- and the most humane way to capture a bird, too!

Oh I have been trying to get a photo of the red bellied for such a long time - they are just so quick and easily scared by my every move. Someday maybe - Nice job!

This is a beautiful shot! When we first moved into our house we were awaken the first morning by a woodpecker attacking our roof! It was not my friend at the moment, but I sure love them now. :)
