Oh that IS pretty, looks like GOD himself has rolled out a red carpet especially for you! You lucky girl!

Red & pink leaves! How incredible. What kind of tree is that? Can I plant one in Washington State?

What a great sight you have found for ruby Tuesday... this really is a nice capture.

This looks like a patterned Berber carpet. The weave of ruby and tan leaves is stunning. A autumnal carpet that leaves us a path to nature. Excellent!

Absolutely delish! Great depth. We don't get those lovely reds here.
P.S. For Halloween afternoon, an old buck, stopped by my patio window. I was amazed since I just saw yours playing in a few great shots. Well, I see many doe but have seen one buck in all the time living here. I tried to outsmart him, ran out the front door to try to photo him off the side of our house. He stared at me as I enjoyed those antlers but as soon as I raised my camera (since I did not have a zoom lens on it), I was too close and he "bucked" off into the forest. So I have a blurry shot of his butt, but a fantastic memory of his face. How I wanted those antlers photographed! :D

Oh how beautiful!
Looks like someone scattered a carpet of red rose petals for a bride to walk on.

I like fresh-fallen leaves - I think I can hear them crunch under my feet as I walk beneath that tree. ;-)

So many pretty leaves, to walk through and enjoy, or to rake up (not!)

Happy Ruby Tuesday, Carletta!

Beautiful, it looks as though the tree was planted in the middle of a lovely carpet. Great shot Carletta.

A beautiful carpet, God's own Autumn display.
I like to walk on fallen leaves, the smell of nature, trees fertilizing their own soil.
Oh, how wisely it all is made.
Not a death, but a prolonged life in beauty.

I love the tactile nature of walking in the Autumn woods - the sound, the smells, the feel of the leaves under foot.

Beautiful!

My R T is posted now. "I came, HE SAWED, we conquered". come see. Here is the permalink to my Tuesday post.

It does look like a carpet, with the different shades, resulting from the backs and fronts of the leaves, scattered throughout!!! One of the major joys of autumn!!

This looks like our back yard! You've got more color in the leaves than we do, however.

I love your wisteria shot the the Fall leaves on the ground. Thanks for sharing.

The red carpet is very pretty. I mostly see a mix, and now all red like this. Nice.

Wouldn't you hate to be the one that had to sweep all those leaves up! They are very pretty. You reminded me of a horror story in my earlier life, about sweeping leaves. I got out of it okay.

Happy RT! It has been a while since I visited your WVa site. I am still way behind and now my Birthday Holiday set me back so I can't recover in comments due.
