Sepia just adds to um...ambiance to the old house! It enhances the weathered look on the farmhouse. It ha that feeling like in the 'Wizard of Oz' reminding me of Aunt Em's house prior to the tornado...

Love all the hues in this photo! This easily could have looked spooky but the soft tones of sepia and hints of color make it inviting.

This old house looks good in sepia, I like how the wall surface is creeping with plants too! :)

I love old buildings, and sepia makes them look just that much older. Perfect selection Carletta.

The hints of color here give your photo an eerie glow. Excellent mood for this ghostly house.

Old wooden houses and sepia - two great tastes that go great together. (Or was that peanut butter and chocolate?)

Soon, the entire house will be devoured by that ivy. This is a great pic. I was looking at it and a story worm started crawling around in my brain.

I really like that picture. I'll bet that house could tell some interesting stories.

This is great. The sepia tones really accentuate the feel of an aged, old building.

I do like your photo! Sepia seems to add so much to photos of old buildings.

Thanks for your visit to my Sepia Scene!

I love the way the vines are growing on the ... storage room? Whatever that is on the left. Nature reclaiming its own. Though it looks as if this house had a pretty good harmony with the land when it was still in use. Too bad it's fallen into such a state. I suspect building codes would make it impractical to restore it now. A shame.

Oh yes!!! You did well! I love it!

Loved the comment about the strange language, but it's really Dr John that makes me do it!! LOL!

This house makes me sad but it's a perfect candidate for sepia.

Carlotta, I LOVE your blog! Thanks for stopping by mine(Memories Then and Now!)...I love your music, too. Our daughter is a middle school band teacher and a flutist! How soothing! NONE of my blogs (all 8 of them!) are without music! I can't imagine them without it, since music is such an important part of my life!
