WHOA;....this is one awesome shot my friend. Beautiful macro image. Carletta, you have outdone yourself this week. I have heard of the plant/weed but never have seen it. You asked about Hopkin’s Green. It is a precious little park right in the middle of town...with that lovely water fountain. If you do any letterboxing, there is a letterbox under the big pine tree in the little park. Hope you have a nice week. The rains are now gone and the sun is out. Very warm outside. genie

At first, when I read 'chickweed' I was thinking "Hey, I thought they had blue flowers"...but now that I think about it, I'm thinking chicory...duh!!!

Pretty.

Ps....do you know what kind of duck that is in your next post down from here? It sure has pretty plumage.

Great shot! I've been pulling these plants up by the buckets full this week. Makes the compost pile happy! Thanks for stopping in and leaving a comment on my fungi.

Wow Carletta what a wonderful shot - that first picture looks as if I could just pick one of those pretty wee flowers. Lovely work.
