I have always loved bleeding hearts and have tried to grow them here a number of times but our dry summer heat kills them every time. At least I can feast my eyes on yours.

Bleeding hearts....this was my mother's FAVORITE plant. No matter where we lived, she always had dad plant a bleeding heart. Your photo touched my 'heart'!!

Beautiful bleeding hearts are one of my favorite flowers. Hope you both have a wonderful Christmas (and I expect if you're with the grandkids and their parents it will be wildly exciting.)
