Imagine you have a slow motion camera and see the prtals unfolding.
I always wonder why it is called swan plants. Thanks for enlightening. The "swans are very small, less than 1/2 inch. I enlarged it. otherwise one won't notice.
I went to check it out, it is the green hairy egg shaped pod that gave the name. They say if the pod drops on the water, it floats like a swan. The tapered end looks like the swan has it's head in the water.
Thanks, otherwise I would never know. When school starts, I can tell the kids this fact.
