An old leaf on the deck in water. When I say that is sounds bland. But when I look at what you have done with it, simply, wow. Great reflection, composition and angles. I also like the colors and saturation. Well done. Very nice blog you have too! Here is my entry.

Your photos belong in an art gallery Carletta! So beautiful. And the titles always intrigue -- I can't wait for the picture to come up after I see the title on my reader. Just lovely.

If I had a wall I'd love to post this one on it (no danger of my stealing it right now -- the Roadtrek really doesn't have any walls ;>)

Très beau travai. Les couleurs, la texture, tout y est !

Wow! The shape of the leaf looks like a face with a sunglass on! Great composition!

Incredibly sharp - an interesting 'shadow' if it is, or shape emerging from melting snow - a bit of a puzzle here!

Carletta said...

Margaret,
To help clear up the puzzle...
This is a premature dead leaf from my oak tree. The leaf is reflected in the puddle on a plank of the deck. The white is actually the gray sky reflected in that puddle.
Thanks everyone for your wonderful comments.

It looks lonely but lovely as it sheds tears to reflect in.

This is simply beautiful Carletta. It's a real keeper.

Your roadside chicory images are marvelous. I've always liked these tiny neglected flowers.
