LAST WEEK I POSTED A SHOT OF THE FALLS FROM HIGH ATOP ONE SIDE OF THE GORGE. THIS WEEK I HAVE POSTED A SHOT FROM THE OTHER SIDE. IT IS FROM THIS SIDE THAT YOU CAN TAKE A WOODEN PATHWAY DOWN TO VIEW THE FALLS. IN THE LOWER RIGHT HAND OF THIS PHOTO CORNER YOU CAN SEE A GLIMPSE OF THE STRUCTURE. YOU MUST DESCEND 214 STEPS. THAT ALSO MEANS 214 STEPS BACK UP! I TOOK THIS PHOTO A LITTLE MORE THAN HALFWAY DOWN. IN THIS SHOT YOU CAN SEE THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE FALLS THAT COULDN’T BE SEEN IN LAST WEEK’S PHOTO. YEARS AGO IN MY YOUTH WE WALKED A BOULDER STREWN PATH TO THE BOTTOM.

Hmmm. 214 is a lot of steps! It's such a pretty falls though, so it might be worth it. ;-)

Your photo is amazing. I can just imagine how fantastic it must have been to be so close to the falls. I can almost hear the roar of the water.

That is so beautiful. Waterfalls have a magical feel to them.
**To answer your question regarding my beach shot. The tide was so far out we were able to walk out further than we ever had, that's why I enjoyed the shot so much. Otherwise I think we would have to been in a boat to see through the rocks.

This makes me want to see Blackwater Falls more than ever. I went down 564 steps in Georgia to see Hurricane Falls, so hopefully I can handle those 214 steps!
