THIS IS AN IMAGE OF A WHITE ROSE THAT I TOOK IN VERY LOW LIGHT AND WITH A FLASH. THE RESULT GAVE IT A SLIGHT SEPIA TONE RIGHT OUT OF THE CAMERA THAT I LIKED. HOPE YOU ENJOY.

This is just stunning. I love it. I tell you I'm having a great deal of problems with my new camera getting that flash right and the light. There is so much to learn :)

A stunning picture. I'll try to learn and remember; low light, blitz, white water.
My physiotherapist has some sepia rose pictures in her waiting room. I watch them every Thursday. They haven't got any of the contrast, living light or depth that your white rose picture own.
Then her name isn't Carletta either.

The myriad folds, peaks and valleys are highlighted by the soft monochrome here. I would be happy if a new hybrid rose were created in sepia. I;d tend a garden full of that color!

Mmmmm -- I can almost smell that!

Nice shot Carletta, the camera gave the flower a peachy tone. I like the water droplets on it too, thanks for sharing:)

Absolutely Gorgeous! I love how softly the light played across the one side, leaving drastic shawdows on the other. And the water droplets add so much elegance to the shot! Beautifully done!
Thanks so much for coming to visit me!

perfect symbol of romance. The lighting is great and the little drops of water glistening on the petals is a nice touch. Thanks for stopping by and for all of your nice comments. I appreciate it so much.

Beautiful close-up of the rose. The fact that it's natural and not sepia-fied makes the photo even more special.

Lovely picture.

This is a beautiful capture, Carletta. I have found roses so difficult to 'understand' with my camera.

This is wonderful.
I love all of it, but the intricacy of the folds most of all. It makes me gasp in awe of how wonderful nature is.
