I’VE BEEN AWAY FROM BLOGGING WHILE VISITING MY GRANDCHILDREN; BUT IT’S GOOD TO BE BACK CONTRIBUTING TO ONE OF MY FAVORITE MEMES. IN MY AREA WE ARE ANTICIPATING A MAJOR SNOWSTORM WITH VERY LOW TEMPS. I TOOK THIS PHOTO OF THE BLANKET FLOWER BACK IN MUCH WARMER OCTOBER. IT WAS THE LAST LONE BLOOM IN MY FLOWERBED.

Beautiful flower. We are in the midst of a storm -- major rain -- flooding is predicted. I hope you stay warm and dry -- I'm planning to do the same!

This is absolutely beautiful. We had ice last night and it's snowing and very cold today. It's nice to be reminded of warmer days.

WELCOME HOME!! Cyndi and I were walking around her gardens on that one sunny day last week checking out the last hangers-on of the season (she had dapnhe and even a couple of roses). I love the sunshine" you had in yours though -- what a great color for the last gasp of Autumn.

I remember seeing these blanket flowers when we stayed in Texas. I love those last hangers-on -- and I love this bright yellow flower (and I'm in Florida -- I'm sure it means even more to everybody in the 49 snowy states ;>)
