An exceptional photo Carletta, how lucky to get this gorgeous buck and the turkey in one shot. Animals clearly have souls, who can deny it when looking into those eyes. Have a great weekend.

Wow! I really don't want a backyard again at this stage of my life, but if I did want one it would be yours ;>)

I have seen turkeys and deer lately, too! A hen turkey & her brood were in my yard the other day. I took pictures, but haven't posted any of them.
Great shot!
Such a good photograph with the out of focus turkey in the background. Love it when their antlers look like this.
Awesome photo!! I love the deer's eyes.
My hubby would say dinner times 2!
This is a wonderful picture of your two visitors. I like the way you've captured the turkey in soft focus.
What an awesome capture!
OH! I love this picture! How cool to be able to see these animals in your own back yard!

Another truly beautiful shot!
OH MY! What a crystal clear shot of this beautiful face! What a beauty!
A wonderful encounter, Carletta. I hope you get the chance to photograph the fawns soon. I have noticed that they are relatively easy to see soon after they are born, if one is lucky enough to be in the area where this happened, but then the does hide them and they travel very little until a certain point. Eventually they begin traveling with the does more and more, and in time become their constant companions. I had not seen the fawn that ran under the tripod again until late last week, and then yesterday the doe brought it to the meadow in both morning and evening.
exceptional, i like the DOF here.
Wonderful capture!
Seriously?!?! They BOTH showed up at the same time??? How AWESOME is that! LOVE the photo.

Oh wow! Carletta I can't believe you got them both in one shot. The deer has the sweetest face.
