Pretty dressed in her bright, spring yellow! When I was just a little girl I called these "For Cynthia" bushes.

What a wonderful macro of the forsythia. I love forsythia and have tried some shots of the individual blooms as opposed to the mass of them but haven't gotten close to what you've done here.

Good week, dear!

So this is 'Forsythia'.. I have a small bush in the garden and have often wondered what it was... shame on me for not knowing it's name. I have just checked and the leaves are just about ready to show.

Great photo! Our forsynthia here is almost past its prime now. And it keeps getting drowned in rain! I guess our spring arrived before yours!!

Just lovely! Ours have buds, but haven't bloomed just yet. I'm looking forward to it!

Lovely composition and framing!

Wonderful macro, Carletta! Love the way the pollen on the end of the stamen stands out - it almost looks 3D. (My forsythia still only has 5 flowers on it.)

Perfection, Carletta!

We always looked forward to this first blossoming back when we spent all year in the Pacific Northwest.

Gorgeous! So sunny and beautiful. (Ours are still tight buds contemplating the meaning of spring as we go through another cold spell, so thanks!)
