Carletta: Beautiful capture at night.
I love night captures...this one is great. I have got out and tried to do any in soooo long.
Beautiful!
I have a fountain, too, for WW,
but nothing as grand as this!
Love the lighting in this too. Beautiful capture Carletta.
What a LOVELY fountain ... all the more beautiful with lights at night. I'm sharing a watery photo my sister took in South Bend, Washington at Small Reflections ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
Beautiful photo of the WWII Memorial and a lovely time of the day to capture the lights on the fountain. I have yet to get there but hope to rectify that situation soon. In the meantime I have really enjoyed this incredible shot. Thanks Carletta.

I love fountains, your picture is beautiful...the lighting just right.
Beautiful !
Your photo is wonderful, Carletta. This is a beautiful memorial. It make us pause and reflect on those who have served our country.
This looks delightful. I've been in Wash. DC in July, and with that humidity I can understand why people are sitting with their feet in the water. A pretty evening capture.
That's really nice, especially w/ the lights!
Oh my! That is absolutely gorgeous! I love it!
Sorry I was late this week. My post for this week is up.
As usual, you amaze us!
Altough I'm a very poor visitor lately, you didn't forget abour worst photos. Thanks for that and for visiting.
Well photographed! The lighting is beautiful.

It's a beautiful memorial for one of many historical events which should not have had to be.
The twilight evokes sadness, the lighted fountains remind me of bombs and bullets. And the people can only stand and watch.
What a great picture this is Carletta.. and a wonderful memorial to.
this is a fabulous dusk capture. the lighting is great.
Lovely capture! The lighting is soft and inviting.

Love the light on the watery arches.

Night shots are never easy but youy did a great job! That's in Washington DC eh? It's a beautiful monument!
My grandfather was a WWII veteran. I am glad we have such a beautiful place here in the USA to remind us of all brave man and women who went through the nightmare of the WWII. Thank you!
This is a beautiful picture taken at dusk. I think this enhances the message of the memorial. Very well done!
Great image, Carletta!
The beautiful fountain is lightened so well.
Carletta, this is fantastic. I love public places in cities like this. Everyone can relate to the calmness of water an just sit and enjoy.
I love how the fountain lights add such a cool effect to this picture
What beautiful lighting and scene! This is a fabulous photo!
What a lovely photo. the light and the flow are wonderful.
I love visiting this memorial...one that took much too long to finally create.
My father was in WWII.
Beautiful composition. You know, I spent lots of time on the "mall" when I lived in VA, visiting The Wall, etc, but don't think I have been here. Tara and I plan on a trip to Wash DC in the fall.
