What a magnificent capture!!!
Good capture. The shadows makes it more interesting. This insect seems to be playing the sliding board.
I biggified and got scared ! lol ! What a shot ! It looks like real !
Impressive. Love that wing shadow.
You have really captured the attitude of a Bug. But, hey, she needs to shave her legs! :)
What an absolute corker of a shot -I'm sure the creature is posing for you...
Fabulous! I love the little hint of blue!
My Camera Critter
Oh, wow! Lovely -- the shadow makes it extra special. Right place, right time! Well done!

Carletta: Beautiful capture of the damselfly. I have dragonflies today.
What a cool shot. His back looks like bamboo. A few weeks ago I saved one of these that was caught in a spider web... it wasn't his time yet ;)
wonderful - it looks like it's wearing a little blue jacket.
Thoseeyes are stunning this is a great close up ...
Absolutely MAGNIFICENT macro of this beautiful critter ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
Great capture and photo Carletta! These guys do not stand still for me.
Looks like you have a nice little Blue-Fronted Dancer. Did you find it near a river or stream? Nice photo.
Great capture and great title.
What a beautiful critter. I haven't seen a blue dragon fly, other than in pictures...we have the red/orange ones out here where I live. This one is a real beauty and amazing macro, Carletta!
Fantastic macro shot, Carletta! That critter is so interesting! :-)
Hi Carletta, Thanks for the encouraging words. I look forward to seeing your reflections whenever you are able to post them.
This is a really cool picture it's so clear and interesting to look at.

superb macro!
Pretty shot of this wee critter :)
This is beautiful, I've always been so enchanted with dragonflies, even as a kid, tried catching them...this is a beautiful color variation.
Carletta, a great shot for Camera Critters. But also great for Shadow Shot Sunday! :)

I love the shadows of his wings!!
Exquisite!

What a wonderful shot! Even more wonderful with the shadows. Way cool.
So delicate and dainty. They whisper by so softly.
Outstanding shot of this delicate creature.
Wonderful damselfly.
Beautiful shot. I would have said dragonfly but for Leedra saying damselfly. I looked it up and saw the difference between the two. What a sweet photograph. . . I also saw this representation of a dragonfly when I was searching. I though it was neat. . . =i= =i= =i= =i= =i= . . . an army of dragonflies!
This is the best close up I've seen! Unreal..look at those eyes- ha..but its a damselfly? Neat
Beautiful, Carletta. I love the blue on the thorax (?) of the dragonfly. It's a very excellent insect capture.
Nice capture. When enlarged, the dragonfly looks almost machine-like.
