As I was preparing breakfast last Sunday I glanced out the dining room window and this little fawn was walking by. Grabbing the camera I shot through the dining room window (yes, EG, again) to capture this little moment in my backyard. Isn't he cute!
And, if you're reading this Frank W. I had your poem in mind with this post. :)
I can imagine your excitement. :)
I have quoted you in my present post with out your permission.
He sure is cute. He probably also knew you'd have the camera nearby (they're pretty smart - and just love being the star on someone's blog). There's a purpose in everything.
Aww, he is so cute. From looking at the ears he is listening and aware of your presence but wants you to get a great photo.
Beautiful.
Hi Carletta, how adorable, a great capture of one of the sweetest little animals there is. Thanks for stopping by my blog and welcoming me back. Sure did appreciate that :)
Ah! We did post the same sort of pic! The spots show up very well on yours -- mine not so much.
Soooooooo sweet :)
Lovely shot !!
This is a rare sight for me to come across... we do get them but I must now make to much noise moving around and scare them..

Hello Carletta,
This is so sweet, those dots just make me smile and those big floppy ears!
Thank you for your visit and kind comment on my blog.

That is a beautiful big doggy.
licks and sniffs, Sasha
I'm not sure I've ever seen a fawn walking nonchalantly, but you've got a good capture of one.
Oh, my. Isn't this little one gorgeous! What a delight! Thank you!
And isn't he adorable? Almost as cute as Lorelei, Lily, and Lucy. Almost, but just not quite there, although his mom would probably disagree.
beautiful little fawn gracefully walking.
Oh they are so sweet. I saw a couple near the wood across the pond...
What a little sweetie, love to see captures like this.
How precious..what a nice capture. Was this out near your place? Have a great weekened-

He is just a darling baby! And thanks so much for letting me know about my link being wrong on the CC blog roll. :)

Amazing how the deer in your area seem to know no fear!
It looks like a small delicate thing!
What a little cutie :-)
Lovely capture !!!!
Gorgeous picture of the fawn! Your photography is wonderful.
What a view to have! That is grace! Those spots match 100% my idea of a beautiful fawn!
I saw a fawn with spots, too - but I was driving, so couldn't take a photo!
Carletta: that is a beautifuk capture, I have not seen any this year so close.
amazing capture!
He's adorable!
He is gorgwous. I just saw a Mom and a fawn in the road on my way home tonight. (I live along a shoreline road away from towns but it can get a bit busy at this time of the year) ANyway, she wandered from the woods across the road into someone's garden. She was a way from home. I hope she made it back okay.
Wonderful photo!!
oh carletta!
your gentle camera in action again!
oh, you are just so blessed to have these tender creatures passing your path so many times and just how unafraid they are of you and how much they trust you!
so, so nice!
this little one is so cute!
love terry
oh just now louis armstrong is singing "what a wonderful world".
i just don't like to be crying this late at night, even though they are "happy tears"!
I just love your deer pictures! They are all wonderful.
