Now there's a handsome fellow! Look at that lovely suit!
Is that a turkey ? Either way, I'd like to see him go for a dip ^_^
Is this little guy on a farm near you ?
he is rather staid and stately, like British Royals. great captures!
Those are really cool photos Carletta. I saw a couple of turkey's over the weekend up on Skyline Drive, but didn't have a chance to take a photo of them. So glad that you did. They're great!
What a handsome young man. .. and yes, I think that bird bath might be a little too small. :-)
Cool capture !!
Those wild turkeys are fun to watch! Great pictures.
I'm laughing out loud at this one! Great photos of a turkey with his bird bath! ;D
Maybe he just came for your entertainment. Or to wash his face and hands only!
Nice feathered fellow!
Oh yes, he needs to be provided with a bigger one. :)
I've seen those in NC. Very cool!

Cool pics, Carletta!
We often see them when we go to Alabama in the summer! It's always a thrill to see birds and animals in the wild!
Junie
Yummmy! I'll have cranberry sauce on the side!
Nice pose turkey! You'd better hide before Thanksgiving rolls around.
There's a turkey with a wild imagination. ;-)
Lovely photos! He seems to be posing for the camera, in the second one--and nicely done too LOL.
Did he take a bath in the bird bath? He's a big one, isn't he? WoW!
Great photo !
Did he take a dip ?
Great photo- I have turkey in my yard all the time....and I can never get a shot like that. I love it!
LOL, yes I think hes just a little big for that bird bath. Handsome guy though :)
Lol. He wouldn't get much of a bath in that! Maybe he's just looking for fallen bird seed. Great photo!
Great shots. LOL! That would have been funny to find it standing in that little bird bath. :-D
LOL, Carletta. Your post made me smile! He does seem a bit large for the bird bath. But who can blame such a handsome fellow for wanting to groom a bit.
Ah very cool! Maybe he wants to be, um, very cool.....
Great photos!
It's funny that you have a wild turkey in your yard! Great job catching him with your camera!
Great pics! What a majestic bird he/she is :)
Tom is quite a looker!!
Wonderful shots! Thanks for sharing.

Must be amazing to see one of these guys in person. Great shots.
Great shot, Carletta, this is the first time I met a wild turkey.
Nice capture!
This new friend is fabulous! I liked it a lot!

Wonderful captures of this fine feathered critter! Yez ... Molly's definitely a pampered pup. Ms Kitty lives a similar life ... just because. ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
Carletta: Really nice captures of the neat turkey.
Mr Tom is ginormous! How nice to see him strutting hios stuff across your blog!
Guess you don't have to go to the supermarket at Thanksgiving, eh, Carletta? Or is Mr. Tom a pet?
The 2nd photo he appears to be posing for you.
That's too funny about the bird bath.
Great pictures of the turkey. I don't think he would fit in the birdbath!
mr. uncle don montean lives on a country road and the wild turkeys and the deer are always in his back yard, coming in for a visit.
one year it was such a hot summer that the thirsty deer were eating his apples and he never stopped them.
yes those deer and the wild turkeys were protected by mr.uncle don montean..he would never let the hunters go in his back field.
those sweet animals trusted him just as your backyard wild ones trust you and your gentle camera carletta...
god bless you...love terry
