Une très très belle photo

Are kids allowed on the caboose? It is quite invited. But I see a fence between the caboose and the playground. And it's the B&O, like in Monopoly!

This is wonderful! The only places we see cabooses here in Canada anymore are in museums. I suppose train sets still have them though, so kids would know what they are.

Fine red waggon. Great choice for RT.

I wonder the same as Leora. Does kids are allowed to play on, Carletta ?
This place would make happy children. Especially in Red.

Great Carletta. I also see you got the hang of what I told you yesterday. :)

Now that is a kid's playground. I cab see the waifs climbing up the caboose steps and roof and hanging on the railings like a signalman. But probably not in our litigious society, but like when I was little, say, 1959. The best playground prop is this great B&O treasure!

I guess the children are allowed to play there despite the fence.
Else it would just tease them to climb over the fence. Who would not do that for this inviting wagon.

Congratulations with two blogs.
They are both interesting and well worth visiting.

I remember that song... don't I?

And I always went for the B&O in Monopoly too!

Great shot, but I don't think this caboose is going much of anywhere anytime soon.

Carletta, it's an excellent Ruby Tuesday: a good subject for a very beautiful image.

Carletta, in fact, watching better, I realize that the swing is on the other side of the fence. So the caboose is out of the playground. Too bad for children ..

You made me smile, proposing that fishermen were deciding what fish they would buy before going back home. So funny. Hope they won't buy an exotic or atlantic species !
Would be difficult to explain to their wives.
I took the picture at the Italian border !

Hi Carletta, Do you not have Round The Bend anymore? Or is this one in addition to it? Very nice RED caboose!

Anonymous said...

I figured it out! It's in addition to Round The Bend! I added both to my blog roll so I can visit more often!

Melli said...

Ah! The OTHER view! I love them both! Oh I see it's near a tot lot -- do the children get to PLAY on it? How cool would THAT be???

Cool caboose and a perfect red for Ruby Tuesday.
Did you think of RT as soon as you spotted it? That's what happens to me now, wherever I look.

Nice new photo blog, Carletta. That red rose below is stunning!

Hi Careletta, RT's over now but you sure did have a good one!
I like cabooses, Mrs. Jim's dad (died when she was seven) was a 'railroad man.'
