Yup, that is what my world looks like just now, all except for the blue part... I am waiting for that! I love the shot, though - an unusual treatment for icicles!
I agree with another commenter -- the contrast of the icicles against the sky is grand. Watch out for that one on the left though, looks a tad dangerous!
What a unique and creative way to "shoot" those lovely icicles!! Great shot. Doesn't winter present such a wonderful array of opportunities for great photos! Mickie
Carletta: What a great winter sky framed with the ice.
Thanks for stopping by. This has been a tough winter in NE Ohio. We have had 6 foot of snow so far. Our average winter is 5 foot so we may break some records.

That was an unusual phrase for Coleridge.

It's cold indeed. I love the way the icicles look like they are coming from the sky.

I had a very similar view a few weeks ago but now it is raining and warm. Probably just a short interlude before the cold returns.
You've done wonderful job. Congrats!

That's a unique picture and beautiful....wish I had thought of that. :)
I love those icicles on the light-filled sky. Greetings.
