My lovely daughter-in-law had purchased these from a street vendor in DC before we visited last week. They were all of ten dollars - a beautiful bargain!

These are so beautiful! I was hoping to find an email address for you. I just now...2 months late...found the comment you left me about quilt barns. I'm glad to know that you saw some and your photos were so neat! I'm going to show photos of the ones that I've seen at our quilt guild sometime this year and talk about the quilt trail. If you have a map for your area or any information, I would be happy to tell people about the ones near you. I wish we would get them started here...we have plenty of barns and plenty of quilt history. My email is mvfreeman@juno.com if you have an comments about what you saw or what is happening in your area.
