The toning down of most of the view allows the quilt pattern on this barn stand out and shine (and it looks like a sort of sunburst at that). Nice!
This works for me, Carletta! I LIKE this!
The coloured quilt makes a lovely impact on this magical sepia picture...
This has a charming effect on me.
that ohio star is such a wonderful quilt pattern.
my entry is here: http://ewok1993.wordpress.com
Way kewl! The eye is drawn right to the pattern ^.^
Looks like a true old time photo turned sepia & I love old barns - Such history!
Carletta,
I love the quilt barns you are showing this week. Your sepia with a splash of color perfectly blends past and present.
Annie
That quilt pattern!! :)
Very interesting how you've filter just the surroundings with sepia and leaving the quilt in full color :)
I agree with everyone giving praise to the quilt pattern. The sepia is muted and the quilt brought life to the barn. Nice capture!
The quilt really stands out, great job ! I love how it has that 'old photo' feel to it.
Did this take you long to process ?
I agree with the previous comments, it is a very unique shot. (I love barns and quilts) Hope you can stop by to see my sepia scene and window views Thanks!
Carletta
Wonderful sky and marvelous landscape!

Wonderful sepia scene, the wooden building looks great and the quilt pattern is really eye-catching!
Great photo. I love the dark tones of the barn against the lighter tones of the trees. Thanks for sharing and thanks for stopping by my blog.
Quite a unique shot! It draws your attention straight to the color.
I really like this sepia photo.
I like the color! Awesome.

I like what you did with this one.
The best part of the barn is the star! Looks great sepia.
Carletta, I don't know how I missed this shot! What a fantastic job! All your photos are outstanding! :)
I love how you did this in sepia but the square in color! Neat. If you ever post any more, please let me know! I love seeing them.
